What We Do Outside
You do not need any gear, equipment, or experience. We provide everything. Just bring yourself and your willingness to try something new.
Every session
We walk together through Maine’s trails and green spaces, pausing to breathe, reflect, and connect. A gentle way to slow down, take in the natural world, and feel less alone in a new place.
Outdoors in circle
Our healing circles move outside in the warmer months — sitting together in nature, sharing, listening, and supporting one another. The land holds us as we hold each other.
Mindfulness
Simple breathing and mindfulness practices done outdoors — by the water, in the forest, or in an open field. Nature deepens the practice and helps the nervous system settle.
June
A guided kayaking experience — many for the first time. Equipment and instruction provided. A powerful way to build confidence and connection with the ocean and coast of Maine.
August
An introductory surf experience on Maine’s coast. Boards and wetsuits provided. About joy, courage, and claiming space in the ocean — a space not always made for us.
September
A hands-on session learning about seaweed and ocean farming with Maine farmers. Participants connect to the land, the sea, and sustainable food traditions that echo practices from home.
October
An overnight camping trip for participants and families. Transportation via ferry to Casco Bay islands. A rare chance to rest in nature, be together, and make memories with your community.
